We are pleased to announce that Prex Corporation have selected Canadian Thermix Inc. to be their exclusive agent/distributor in Canada. Prex Corporation, established in 1989, is a subsidiary of Hanano Corporation, Kobe, Japan. As exclusive representative, Canadian Thermix Inc. is now able to offer die casters the flexibility of customized, die lubricant delivery systems designed for precision performance to boost productivity and provide cost-effective solutions that work. Canadian Thermix Inc. will also represent Prex for their hand-held spray guns, core pins, ceramic lined shot sleeves, and an expanding range of accessory products. Canadian Thermix Inc. is now representing a line of boron nitride coatings from Saint-Gobain. These coatings are recommended for a variety of porous and non-porous surfaces including graphite, metals and ceramics. Supplied in liquid form, boron nitride may be diluted with water to a spraying, brushing or dipping consistency. Boron nitride coatings have high temperature lubrication properties for hot pressing, forging and extrusions. These coatings also demonstrate good mold release properties. Boron nitride coatings are also non-wet by most molten metals, salts, fluxes and slags; thermal shock resistant; and corrosion resistant.
